I got my FM3 today so I can stay here legally. Yay! I have a little passport-like book they stamp each time I go in and out of Mexico.

-Got hinges for dog gate.
-Bought a jig saw which I need for the secret art project.
-Copied $50 USD of keys… to finish the key orgnaizing my mom started. I need keys for guests.
-Bought some ginger to sprout and raise.
-Realized I can conver the big cabana bathroom to a sauna…. easier than building the big one though I will do that after.
-Went to ajuno in search of big rocks to make a stone circle. Got a name of a guy… but little progress…
-forgot to drop of my life animal trap to a friend in morelia. Whoops… I called and apologized for being a flake. I hate flakes. It was even on my list.. but as I left morelia… I was on autopilot to home and spaced it totally. Bad Brian…
-Drove off to find a big solar oven dish I saw from the highway. Found it and some gates and cows… they guys there said another guy owned it. I took a close look. Interesting. One the way out aggressive cows got through the gate I wa sdriving through… of about 15 cows only to made it though… I had to throw my daypack at them to scare them… but they kinda scared me… they have horns and I can’t tell what they are thinking.
-Took digital cameras to shop. One has a defect… was a piece of dust inside… clean now… left the other for repair of the light meter or something.
-Met new metal working guy in Eronga and will use him in the future… he is less busy than the other guy. (Who made a thing to hold my tire which them broke.)
-One of the generators I got tuned up the other day ran for a couple hours. Now has konked out. Arg!
Stuff breaks all the time here.
Just keeping anything working at all seems to take lots of time.
-Of the three suppliers of materials for the secret art project… I decided not to use the cheapest one who is farthest away because they gave me inferior product… the other two I will keep using and made another order with one today. The other good one… annoys me cause a month after I made my request they still haven’t started on my stuff! I might go cut my order in half and say that anothr place will provide the rest. I am being very flexible… but I do expect work to be getting done on my stuff.
Maybe I should develop a third source too… Oh! I forgot! I am already doing that.. though my faith in the other source is low.
-Got a housesitter arranged now for the Mexico City trip.

A friend told me to make a list of things which make me happy.

-Besa Mae. (My fuzzy dog daughter) I like it when she greets me. I have known her for… 9 years? longer than I have know most folks.
-Understanding how the universe works and learning new things to improve my understanding.
-Producing objects of value and durability. Actually I often don’t like producing them, I like having prodeced them. I am working on that dichotomy.
-Enriching people’s lives. Feeling I am on track to defining better ways of living.
-I like hosting,… I am very good at it, though I got tired of doing it and with some issues around it. I will try to do it again in a better way.
-People who like me and display that in real ways.

Hmmmmm…….

What really does it for me though? What do I enjoy the process of?
-I like walking on the beach looking for odd shaped sticks or rocks or things. Rapid random aestetic searching.
-Painting is often pleasant, though a struggle.
-Photoshoots can be very fun and good, or tiresome depending on the model and whether I feel I am getting creating cool results.
-I like eating grapes. Seedless green grapes. Yummy.
-The touch of skin, the flash in the eyes while we seek to see each others thoughts, the [censored], the too brief peaceful feeling of laying and needing to do nothing.
-Nifty new things. New science toys. Things I have never seem which make me think about how they work.

I wonder what makes me laugh? I haven’t been laughing much lately.
Nothing does anymore. I think I only laugh when I am in love and can be relaxed within that.
I will have to work on that.
